Cheaters Busted by Crossfire.nu

January 10, 2007

h4x0rLast week the Enemy Territory community site Crossfire.nu released vital information about cheaters-group netCoders customer-database. This was obtained by Fusen by hacking an admin’s account and downloading the SQL database. After crossreferencing that data to Crossfire.nu’s user-database this has resulted in a list of no less than 20 people (competitive players) who have been caught cheating. Clanbase announced they would be banned from competition, but in the end nothing happened due to unsifficient proof, while most of the caught cheaters admitted they used hacks. Fortunately, they have been banned from crossfire.nu . But that’s not all. The database also contained emailaddresses and IP’s of players from not only ET but a multitude of games, CoD2, Quake and more. This second discovery is what has made it possible to undermine hackers in all gaming communities.

Three days after the first bust, another community member named Ronner managed to get a hold on secret Nexus information (Nexus is a popular cheater bot) which resulted in another 33 cheaters busted.

netCoders responded to the initial bust by closing down its site temporarily. In wild-west style, a reward was set on any information that would lead to the identity of Fusen. Furthermore netCoders announced to tolerate hacking in clan wars and therefore release free undetected hacks for that purpose. How these public cheats should stay undetected for a long time,
was not explained.

  3. Can somebody paste the list to me? I am at school and cannot get to crossfire, but I want to see the list of hackers before I get home (3PM CST). I am on a computer until then, so linking me to a page that has them (that probably isn’t blocked) would be great.
